আর কি পাবো সেই দিন
মনে পরে সেই দিনের কথা।
আস্ত একটা নিজের বাড়ির পাশে,
ছিল এক ঝোপঝাড় জঙ্গল।
বাড়ির পাশে ছিল এক কাঁচা রাস্তা
যখন আমার বয়স তিন থেকে চার,
মা আমায় স্কুলে নিয়ে যেত।
শেষ পর্যন্ত আমি স্কুল থেকে বাড়ি ফিরি
ছিল কি মনোরম পরিবেশ
ছিল কি সুন্দর শৈশব,
কিন্তু এখন সে নেই
জঙ্গল কেটে বাড়ি ঘর হয়েছে।
আর আমাদের কাঁচা বাড়ি হয়েছে পাকা,
সব কিছু বদলে গেছে
চারি দিকে দূষণ যন্ত্রনা ,
আর কি পাবো সেই দিন?

What else will I get that day?
Remember that day later.
Slowly next to your own house,

There was a rough road beside the house

Mom would take me to school.

What a wonderful environment
