হেরে যাওয়া সাফল্যের কারন
দুঃখ করে সুখকে বরন।
অন্ধের কাছে গোটা পৃথিবীটা
একটা শূন্য গোলক
অদৃশ্য কোনো জগত।
উষ্ণতার আবেশে সে,
জয় করে নেবে
অপরূপ দৃষ্টান্ত।
ফুলের সুবাষের আবেশে
এক ঝটকায়  চিনবে
সে এই অনস্র।
দা দাহ জীবনে শীতলতার
আকাঙ্ক্ষা এক নব প্রাপ্তি,
এক জীবন সংগ্রাম

অতি লোভে মহালোভী,
ফল স্বরূপ নিজ ক্ষতি।
অতি হিংসা প্রতি ধ্বংস

আলস্য তাহার বিফল যায় জীবন
রাগয়ে রাগন্তিত,
হয়ে যায় হিংসতীত।

The story of the heart

ভালোবাসা যে আজ হল পর 

গেলো উড়ে সে কোন অজানা দেশে্

চোখে আজ জল নেই ,

তবু ভিজছে হৃদয়ের শহর ..|

হৃদয়ের খবর রাখছে কে ?

যে ছিল,সে তো .....

গেছে কবে চলে ....

তবু ভাসছে যেন সে

হৃদয়ের আঙীনা তে |

আজ আর নেই চোখে ঘুম...

ঘন কালো রাতে ভরা এ হৃদয়

আমার  চোখ দুটি ....

Bird's nest

ওই নীল আকাশে 

ডানা মেলে উড়ে কত পাখি। 

সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা হল 

এখনও সেই পাখির বাসা 

পরে আছে খালি। 

এই হৃদয়ে আছে 

যত সুখের স্বপ্ন, 

তত আছে দুঃখের কল্পনা। 

পাখিরা উড়ে চলে নিজ পথে 

তাই আজও সেই পাখির বাসা, 

সঙ্গীহীন হয়ে পরে আছে অন্ধকারে।

আমার সব কলঙ্কের দাগ মুছে গেছে। 

জীবন যেন তোমার আলোতে  আলোকিত হয়

Wake up the night

পড়ি আমি কলকাতা কলেজে
চলছে কদিন পরীক্ষা আমার,
রাত জাগতে হয় প্রায় রোজদিন আমাকে
আমার রাত শুরু হয় কফির এক ঢোকে।
এই শুরু হয়, মস্ত একটা চেয়ার এ বসে
আমার বই পড়া।

জ্বালিয়ে দিলাম ল্যাম্পলইট
আশ্চর্য এই নিশিত রাতে,
কুকুর এর ডাক শোনা যায়
তখন আমার দৃষ্টি পরে
টেবিলে রাখা হাত ঘড়িতে।
দেখি এখন ভোর তিনটা বাজে
বুঝলামনা কিভাবে?
পড়তে পড়তে সময় গড়িয়ে যায়,
আকস্মিক ভাবে উষা হচ্ছে
জাগিয়ে তুলছে রাস্তার কুকুর গুলোকে,
আবার, শুরু হয় নতুন করে সময়ের কাটা।

I studied in Calcutta College
My test is going on someday,
I have to wake up almost every day
My night started with a cup of coffee.
This begins, sitting on a chair in the head
Read my book


I lit the lamplight
Wonder this night,
The dog's call is heard

The hands placed on the table are on the clock.
It is now three o'clock in the morning
Don't understand how?
Time is spent reading,
Suddenly Usha is getting up
Awakening street dogs,
Again, it is time to start anew.

আর কি পাবো সেই দিন
মনে পরে সেই দিনের কথা।
আস্ত একটা নিজের বাড়ির পাশে,
ছিল এক ঝোপঝাড় জঙ্গল।
বাড়ির পাশে ছিল এক কাঁচা রাস্তা
যখন আমার বয়স তিন থেকে চার,
মা আমায় স্কুলে নিয়ে যেত।
শেষ পর্যন্ত আমি স্কুল থেকে বাড়ি ফিরি
ছিল কি মনোরম পরিবেশ
ছিল কি সুন্দর শৈশব,
কিন্তু এখন সে নেই
জঙ্গল কেটে বাড়ি ঘর হয়েছে।
আর আমাদের কাঁচা বাড়ি হয়েছে পাকা,
সব কিছু বদলে গেছে
চারি দিকে দূষণ যন্ত্রনা ,
আর কি পাবো সেই দিন?

What else will I get that day?
Remember that day later.
Slowly next to your own house,

There was a rough road beside the house
When I am three to four,
Mom would take me to school.
In the end I returned home from school
What a wonderful environment
What a beautiful childhood,

যুগ কি পরিবর্তন ঘটছে

দিন তো এখন বদলাচ্ছে,

অত্যাচার এর প্রকোপ বাড়ছে 

কি হলো এই সমাজের।

মানুষ মানুষ কে মারছে 

দেশ দেশের যুদ্ধ লাগছে, 

চোখ খুললে দেখি রক্ত। 

চারিদিকে ছড়িয়ে রয়েছে 

কেন সবাই এখন ক্ষুদার্থ? 

রক্তের প্রবল পিপাসা 

এর পরিণতি কি হবে ?

কেও জানে না আর তা। 

সত্যি কি এই শহর ধ্বংস ?

সত্যি কি এই দেশ ধ্বংস?

তাহলে সত্যি কি এই পৃথিবীর ধ্বংস?

When I open my eyes, I see blood.

So is the destruction of this world really?
